Perhaps the most complex and misunderstood of all the Cullen family, Rosalie Hale* is a study in contrasts. Spoiled and vain, all she wanted out of life was to be loved and adored by a good man and to have pretty babies, until her fiancé and his drunken friends left her for dead, savaged and bleeding in the road. After Carlisle "cured" her, she discovered her dreams were unattainable and she took savage vengeance upon those who had hurt her.
